AWI Extension TAS is running a workshop, Sheep eID – what's in it for me?

AWI Extension TAS is running a workshop, Sheep eID – what's in it for me?, providing the latest information on electronic identification (eID); a requirement in Tasmania from 1 January 2025.

The workshop will cover: the role of eID for the Australian sheep and wool industry; how eID can help with collecting information to make more informed decisions to guide your breeding objective, improve wool quantity and quality, and lamb growth rates; biosecurity, market access, and more.

NRE Tasmania will also present current information on timeframes, key dates, grants, and rebates, and be available to answer grower questions.

Don't miss out on this important event, to ensure you're up-to-date with the latest information relevant to your enterprise.

The workshop is 9:30am – 1:30pm on Wednesday 9 October at Campbell Town Showgrounds, 17 Church Street, Campbell Town.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided. Tickets are $60 per person.
