Better weather forecasts for sheep producers!

The BOM’s Livestock Customer Lead, Andrew Maclean, is keen to hear from sheep producers regarding their weather forecasting needs.

The Bureau of Meteorology's Livestock Customer Lead, Andrew Maclean, is keen to hear from sheep producers regarding their weather forecasting needs.

The BOM is seeking to understand how sheep producers access and use forecasting tools to manage risks associated with cold, wet, and windy weather, and is after feedback on changes or improvements that could be made to the tools.

Producers are invited to complete a short Sheep Producer Survey, which will contribute to the BOM's work in supporting the sheep industry.

Feedback can also be provided to Andrew Maclean by contacting him directly at agriculture@bom.gov.au, or on 0417 052 495.
