Looking for help in developing a property-specific strategic flystrike management plan and calendar? SimpliFly™ is a one-day workshop designed to help woolgrowers reduce the incidence and impact of flystrike on their flocks and profits.

AWI Sheep Connect Tasmania is running a series of SimpliFly™ flystrike management workshops throughout Tasmania in November.

These practical workshops are focused on improving the management of flystrike in commercial sheep enterprises. The workshops are designed increase the knowledge and capacity of producers on the key components of flystrike, with particular focus on reducing the incidence and impact of flystrike on the flock and profits, and aspects which help reduce cost, production losses and the animal welfare impact.

Producers will leave the workshops with knowledge and skills relating to their own program and start to develop their own management plan and annual calendar, which combines short and long term tools and strategies.
